| are in action????? How many have 10k miles on them?!?! YES many have bought IPP engines and have gotten great service. But the end result is how well does then engine hold up. I'm guessing half IPP motors are still sitting on a engine stand just looking pretty. I'm not hatting on IPP theres just not enough feed back accounted for me in a rebuild situation to take my engine to IPP. (For the record I have NO BEEF with IPP, hes my local vendor and i've givin him lots of money and surly more later) I had wonderful friendly service through Kyle when he was at SGP. But end result my engine did not hold up, with the exact same recuring issue. All the wonderful service does not out way repeated engine failure and over $2k down the drain. Yes a short block holds 600 hp but saying that it does that safely is in the grey. Its much safer to build when going over 550 hp. And i would never tell a friend is perfectly safe to go for 600hp on a stock block. Thus why i recommended a stock block for =/>550 hp application.
